I read it! Getting cars back on track is key. Frank Schwartz has developed a map indicating the different classes with car and driver, both active and inactive. I sold my ITA car last year but will...
Hoosier and Toyo both make 13" tires still. Most of the ITC guys here in GL Div are running the Toyo's.
Ask every ITC guy what their answer is! Funny we are just bringing one home to expand the fleet. Now this... There are no 13" 200tw tires.
Oh boy are they!
They don't make a 200TW 13" tire. Most ITC and some ITB cars are in this situation. I know a lot of RX-7 guys still run 13's. This will mean lots of revamping to make it work.
...
ITC is a strong class up here. Although I like the HP idea, this can go play at Mid Ohio in ITC and be a competetive car!
PM sent.
Congrats on the Roc!
I ran an ITB Roc and then converted it to G Prod a while back. Unfortunately had to part with it a year or so ago. Just remember, there is a load of knowledge to be had with...
Like everyone else is saying, buy a built car. My last car started out as a $1000 ITB car and I converted it over to G prod. Over the course of three years I probably ended up with well over 8 grand...
I thought you were going to say, the driver!
Just had to say it, you left it open for that!:eclipsee_steering:
So how about some results and reports here! What happened out there? Sunday was beautiful outside (While I was horizontal with the flu!).
There is someone on the VW/Audi race car thread doing a Super Beetle.
Jay- just as long as you didn't hurt my wheels!
How bad is it?

Mark Coffin has some valve tools for sale on ebay right now. You may want to get hold of him... He has a listing with the link on the prod page.
Welcome!:happy204: There are plenty of V-Dub guys up in NE Ohio. Shoot me an e-mail sometime. I'm up in Mentor and my Mom lives in Twinsburg.
Pat Kane ran one up here in NeOhio for several years with pretty good success. He said that getting the suspension right was one of his biggest challenges. He's since moved on to an Integra.
My opinion is this:
Get rid of National and Regional status.
Run all races as Club Races.
Top 24 make the runoffs.
I also have a 95 4-door available. In NE Ohio. Cheap!
Has sunroof but that's what they make sheet metal for!
Jon, I love the modified body work you did on Don's car. The aero on it now is supurb!
So tell me, how many tractors does it take to make it look that cool!
That's the greatness of endurance...
Me and the GP Roc will have to miss the show. I'll be busy putting the motor and drivetrain back in. Man, no race at MO this year! Did manage to freshen up the motor a little and added a new 5th gear...
I couldn't get Walt to make me one so I bucked up for a TT race one. It sure is a nice piece compared to the el cheapo one I had. Will be testing it out in a couple of weeks.
I have to scratch due to low engine oil pressure.
Shawn, looks like you beat me again!
See you in October!
I was going to share a garage with Barry Wills, but now I have to scratch due to oil pressure problems in my engine. First thought is bearings. Have fun down there!
I'm working on getting an A3 too. It's a 4 door but who cares! The weight is the same and the price is right. It'll be a street car for a while with the plan on the slow conversion over the next...
